To all of the families 1. Respite Provider - cared for a 4 year old boy with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome 6 hours/week until he was 8 years of age. 2. Summer Playground Leader - planned and carried out enjoyable and age appropriate programming for groups of 20 children between the ages of 3 and 7. 3. Outdoor Education Intern - assisted with and led outdoor programs for youth ages 6 - 20 including hikes, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, stream studies, farm work and a variety of educational and fun games. 4. KidsAbility - assisted in a classroom of 3 and 4 year old children with a range of communication difficulties. Worked one-on-one with students to accomplish Individual Education Plan goals. 5. Gateway Drive Public School - helped in a resource room of youth between grades 4 and 6 who struggled with a variety of learning disabilties including mild intellectual, behavioural and speech/language difficulties. Initiated fun and hands on team-building activities to build a sense of family within the group and enhance practical life skills such as co-operation and leadership. 6. Nanny - I have had experience as a nanny caring for 2 brothers (3 and 6), a 16 month old boy and a 9 month old girl. I have developed strong relationships with these children and their families and have enjoyed the time spent with their children tremendously. I feel that nannying is an extremely rewarding job
