Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little bit about me! My name is Kyra and I am currently 18 years old and just graduated from high school this month. I am the middle child out of my two other siblings, therefore I know first hand what\'s it\'s like to spend a lot of time around kids. I have been a childcare provider for 6 years now, and have taken care of children ranging from the ages of 12 months to 13 years. I have also had the opportunity to work at an art camp with young children a few years back, as well as I was able to do a co-op placement in a kindergarten classroom last year for six months. I am very passionate about working with children, after this year off I plan on going to university for either teaching or social work. I also consider myself to be quite creative, I play several instruments which include the guitar and ukulele, as well as singing. I enjoy spending time outside, hiking is one of my hobbies! I am very adventurous and open to all types of activities that your children may enjoy. I hope you consider me. During the summer I cared for a boy who was four years old during the summer. He was under my care from 8 am till 4 pm during the week days. During my time spent with him we would do a variety of activities, from walking his older sisters to school, visiting the library, going out to lunch and visiting the park to play. As well as this, last year I spent six months doing a co-op in a kindergarten classroom. one of my responsibilities was to watch the children during their recess times. As well as this I was in charge of doing one on one work with the students when it came to class time.
