Teens Waxing Too Early

July 9, 2014

Recently, an [article was posted on CNN]() about Bindi Irwin, Steve Irwin's daughter. In an interview with News Corp Australia, Bindi stated that she's "a big advocate for young girls dressing their age." I couldn't agree more.

A few years ago, [when my daughters were just 10 and 13]() (where does the time go?!), I posted about their obsession with perfectly straight hair and their desire to join the crowd and look like adults. They're still the same, but at least their older. Older means they can deal with their own hair. But, I still want them to dress their age.

Do you have tweens or teens? Has this come up in your home? What kind of rules do you have in place?
