Nanny Job in Edmonton, Alberta

We are seeking a live-out nanny (or mother's helper) to care for our 3 young children in our SW Edmonton home (Windermere area). Minimum 1 year of childcare experience required. Must have current CPR & First Aid, police record check, child welfare check (or must be willing to obtain). We are flexible with days/hours, but are seeking approximately 16-32 hours a week. Childcare duties will include: preparing breakfast/lunch, diapers and potty, naptime, active play (parks, walks, backyard), educational play (reading, singing, puzzles, games), imaginative play (pretend), creative play (coloring, crafts), bathing, general safety and wellbeing of our children. While we do not expect you to perform housekeeping duties, we do expect that you will clean up after the children (dishes, counters, sweep, tidy up) and leave the home in the same condition you found it in. Must be willing and able to provide references (after interview). We are NOT interested in obtaining an LMIA. Only Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or individuals with an open work permit will be considered. We are flexible with days/hours, and are willing to work around a student's schedule, if they are the right fit for our family. Non-smokers only. Hourly pay starting at $16.50/hour with a raise after satisfactory 3 month review.
