Nanny Job in Victoria, British Columbia

To create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which my children, ages 8 and 11 can thrive and have fun. Main Tasks and Responsibilities • undertaking appropriate creative activities with the children • undertaking appropriate educational activities with the children • undertaking appropriate outdoor activities with the children • preparing meals and snacks for the children • supervising children's meals • cleaning and washing up after children's meals • transporting children to activities / camps as needed • working with children in tidying children's bedrooms and play areas • reinforcing appropriate discipline for the children • walking the family dog Education and Experience • high school graduate • further training in child care and development such as a formal nanny training program, early childhood classes and/or in-service training • proven child care experience with references • First Aid and CPR certification • driving license and safe driving record • criminal record check • eligible to work in Canada Key Competencies • reliable, honest and trustworthy • ability to plan, organize and multitask • non-smoker • emotional maturity • good judgment skills • planning and organizing skills • high energy level
