I am an Elementary school teacher with experience working with children with special needs, behavioural needs and Autism. I really miss being around young children and babies and would love a job as a caregiver this summer to supplement my income for my 8 weeks off of teaching! I am passionate about helping children learn new things, explore their surroundings and learn self-regulation and mindfulness skills. I have worked with children of all ages for over 10 years now and I continue to love everything about kids! I am very maternal, caring, and can adapt to the needs of any child. I love being outdoors and going on nature trail adventures, visiting the park, doing arts and crafts, and building and creating! I can also prepare some early learning material to help prepare your young child for Kindergarten or do some tutoring on the side.
