Hi, my name is Mackenzie and I am 22 years old. I am currently in my 3rd year of University majoring in History, minoring in Geography and taking education classes. My goal is the end with a BA in History and a B-ED in the seniors years stream. I have a passion for teaching and helping children achieve higher then they thought they could have. This could be academically or personally. Being a child that struggled at school because of a learning disability I know the benefits of helping kids learn at their own pace because I believe each child is special and has their own learning style. I have years of experience with children and have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. As the oldest child of 5 kids with the youngest 9 years old at the moment, I have taken on lots responsibility at a young age. From babysitting to helping cook dinner. The skills I have learned at home have helped me run a 5 stare kitchen for 3 1/2 months at a fly-in fishing resort in 2017. As well, be a waitress/ housekeeper for 3 1/2 months the year before. Both seasonal positions.
