Resume Summary: Hello my name is Parvin. Currently, I am an Aupair in Belgium taking care of a six years old boy (Jeff), a nine years old boy (Luka) and a new born (Noah). My responsibilities include two nights babysitting, pick up and drop off at school, cooking meals etc. I'm also slowly learning a bit of Dutch. I am hoping to find a part time live-in au-pair position in Ottawa, Ontario. I've been accepted to study MSc. Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University. I am available 20 hours per week as required. Services And Training: I am comfortable doing homework help, and swimming supervision. When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. I have provided after-school tuition to students aged between 6 to 35 years. I also organised for them and took part in recreational indoor and outdoor activities (specifically for young children): we sang, danced, played games, role played, drew, painted, and narrated stories. We also visited the public library. I have helped my parents look after my sister since birth. As a teenager, I was involved in caring for her on a daily basis. In addition, my younger sister, spent a lot of time playing with our neighbors’ children, so from time to time I found myself in their ever animated company. Also in events such as weddings I was responsible for entertaining the children of our relatives. I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children. I was an au-pair in China for three months;taking care of a six years old girl (Cherry). I taught her English, Swimming and how to play different board games such as Chess. I also learnt a bit of Mandarin.
