Are you interested in homeschooling your child and learning more about the Montessori approach to early education? I am an AMI Montessori Guide and will be delighted to help you set up an engaging and magical learning space for your child with Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, and Math activities. How can we work together? - Giving you essential hints on how to teach your little one reading and writing in the Montessori way - Showing you how to teach numbers and operation with concrete materials you can do yourself - Help you to help your child to become independent and self-confident "Small children want to be part of your world. For them, work is every bit much fun as play if they are given the chance to do it". Tim Seldon - President of the Montessori Foundation. You can gather other children/ parents of your "bubble" to split costs, add more fun and learning opportunities. About me: Born and raised in Brazil, I graduated from the AM University in Sao Paulo with a BA in Marketing in 2010. Inspired by a newcomer in the family, my younger sister Vitoria who was born when I was 19, I started taking courses on psychology and education. As well, I participated in social projects in my community with young children and teenagers. My new discoveries inspired me to make a career transition, go further, and delve into the world of Early Childhood Education. After finishing my training at MTCBC in 2017, I worked for three years as a co-guide at Family Montessori Sitka. I had an enriching and fulsome experience in my previous classroom, working with two groups of twenty bright children (aged 3-6). Yet, during my time at Family Montessori, I helped to establish a strong and enthusiastic community with staff, children, and families and was responsible for the planning and implementation of the Distance Learning Program during COVID-19. My goal for this year is to have more flexibility to focus on my Master’s Degree and work on a personal project, an educational Montessori-inspired product. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
