Nanny in Burlington, Ontario

Hi my name is Emily. I recently graduated Midwife from McMaster University. I am looking for a part time or occasional position while I am not on call waiting for babies to be born. My availability consists of every other week Thursday-Sunday. I have previous experience working with children in various settings (babysitting/nannying/tutoring). I have cared for families with one child up to six children with varying ages from infants (one day old) to 14 years of age. In addition, I have experience working in a summer day camp and running age-appropriate games for many different age groups. My most recent nannying experience involved a family of five children (Newborn-9 years old). As a nanny I have experience cooking and cleaning as well as providing childcare. I have a passion for working with children and families. I am hoping to nanny again for a family that would welcome me as one of their own. Other than working as a midwife and taking care of children, I enjoy reading and being outside. I participate in skiing&skating in the winter and absolutely love it. I am a very organized and crafty person who pays attention to detail but also knows when to let go and have fun. I have the highest level of CPR and standard first aid as well as neonatal resuscitation. As well I have an up to date health screening and police records check.
