Sometimes when i have babysat in the past i\'ve kept a journal of what the kids and i have done for the day and if anything stood out good or bad in some way or another. If this is something that interests you please let me know. Feel free to ask me questions and the kids are more than welcome at my place if it\'s at all convenient. My "niece" Taylor was always at the house with me. She didn't have the best home life and was carted around from person to person alot so i made sure to keep her playroom and the rules of the house the same. So even though the rules changed at other people's house she had consistency at mine. She was a handfull at times but she would sort her self out after a routine was established. I had her for 2 easters and 2 christmas' as well. I was a camp councilor for 2 years. I had all sorts of kids. The camp seemed to be full of misfit children every year and one of those year (i was the floater councilor) i had my very own group of misfits! I had the bad kids i guess you could say, the ones that never listened, the ones that made not only kids cry but councilors too etc etc. Long story short (and you are more than welcome to ask me in an interview about them) They all listened to me and never was rude or snuck out at night or ran off in the woods or hurt other kids etc while i had them. In fact the next summer i happened to run into this girl Kyla who was one of the worst kids in the camp. I was in Calgary and taking photos of a band that was playing at the skateboard park when i hear feet running up beind me and arms being thrown over me in a hug and a small voice saying "oh Mudd it is you!" (my camp name was Mudd) I asked Kyla what she was doing here and she told me her uncle was the promoter for the event. She said she was excited to go to camp and she's going to keep going. I said "but Kyla, you hate camp." and she said "i want to be a camp councilor some day!" to which i asked why and she said "because of you Mudd!" I literally almost cried. I still remember it all. She then dragged me over to meet her uncle who was this huge tattooed, pierced, green Mohawk, 6'7 guy. He shook my hand and said "so you're Mudd? I've heard alot about you. I don't know what you did or said to Kyla last year at camp but i want to thank you. Her grades have gone up in school, she hasn't gotten in any more fights and she stopped swearing and talking back at home. Seriously, thank you." One of the many crazy memorable times i had with the kids from camp.
