Nanny in Hamilton, Ontario

Application: Hi there, I'm a Nursing Student from McMaster University and looking to get some babysitting opportunities for extra money to help with my schooling come September. I am located out of Hamilton, Ontario but willing to drive locations in which the babysitting is needed. (preferably no further than Burlington, Ontario). Depending on my school schedule, I am willing to help throughout my semesters as well. I am confident you will enjoy my company and trust me with your child/children as I am certified in both CPR and First Aid as well as courses dealing with health alongside my studies at school. I have worked and volunteered with children since the age of 12 (9 years now), and confident that I am able to help out in any way possible. I prefer to work with infants, as they are more in demand of attention and I like to keep my hands busy. Working in the daycare, I was in the specific centre where I dealt with children 0-12 months of age and also looking to specialize with premies/infants in the neonatal ward at school. Services And Training: Being a Nursing Student going in third year at McMaster University, I had to be trained in both CPR and First Aid. I am comfortable with handling kids who need diaper changes throughout the day, able to bottle feed/feed a kid (this goes with meal preparation as well). I am a very active individual, and love to keep my hands busy at all times. I worked in a daycare with infants ages 0-12 months of age in a cooperative education placement, as well as specializing in neonatal nursing for school which takes place within the next year to two years. I am comfortable working with sick children as well, and have all my immunizations up to date with no chance of getting your child sick. I have babysat/nannied for over 9 years, and have gotten excellent feedback from families who I have looked after. As mentioned earlier in my application, I tend to like working with infants more as I like to keep my hands busy and look for challenges.
