Nanny Job in Victoria, British Columbia

We are looking for a part time live-out nanny to provide day time care for our two children, age 3.5 (boy) and almost 1yr (girl), starting March 1, 2017. The position is part time: Mon/Wed/Fri, 7:30am-4:30pm, in the Lakehill area (near Quadra/McKenzie). Duties: - Daytime care for two children (note: oldest child will be in school each afternoon from Sept - Jun. Parents will drive him to and from). - Preparation of healthy meals; feeding children - Putting baby down for naps at specified times - Dressing children - Changing diapers - Taking kids on fun outings as appropriate (driving will not be a requirement) - Planning activities and playing games with children - Reading to children and teaching them age appropriate materials - Discipline of children according to methods outlined by us - Light housework (folding laundry, preparing food, tidying, putting away groceries, sweeping, dusting, etc.) -Filling out daily activity reports for parents -*Note: reliability of caregivers is of utmost importance to our family (arriving on time and rarely missing work... although we understand that the occasional sick day will occur). Job Requirements: -Educational background in childcare related studies -First aid/CPR -2 years of professional and referenceable childcare experience (in Canada or abroad) Pay: $15/hr max, 1.5x on stat holidays (if worked). No sick pay due to part time position.
