Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a part-time, live-out nanny to take care of our daughter 2 days a week. She is 13 months old. We are a loving household that prioritizes family, fun, and education, and we look forward to making you a part of our lives. Work hours are 2 full days a week, Tuesday and Thursday, beginning immediately. Exact times are negotiable, but we would prefer 8:30-4:30 or 9:00-5:00. Possibility of adding a 3rd day per week occasionally, if this works with your schedule. Job duties include child care and supervision; age-appropriate play and outings (e.g. playgroup, drop-in centres, libraries, parks); and very light housekeeping limited to baby's daily chores and meal preparation; no other housework, cleaning, or meal preparation required. We are looking for an energetic, nurturing, and trustworthy caretaker who will be happy taking our daughter on daily outings and engaging her in stimulating play. The ideal candidate will have experience with infants/toddlers; First Aid and/or CPR training (or willing to attain them); and excellent references. We live on the west side of Toronto in Little Portugal. Our neighborhood is easily walkable and close to transit at Dundas/College, so driving is not necessary. Pay: $17/hour Job begins immediately.
