Nanny Job in Edmonton, Alberta

Looking for an energetic, gentle, caring and responsible caregiver for our 3 children aged 5, 3 and 1, starting immediately. I will be working Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays and would need you here at 8am and up to 5pm. We believe in gentle parenting, often called attachment parenting that values empathy, responsiveness, respect and closeness. We are looking for someone who is either familiar with this theory on parenting, or willing to learn. We take a gentle approach to discipline and expect that our children's needs come first. You would be responsible for walking the 5 year old to kindergarten each morning, and the 3 year old to playschool each Thursday morning as well as picking up the older two just before lunch.The schools are 2 blocks away. Our one year old naps 1-2 times a day, and needs to be carried/rocked/patted to sleep. We value healthy eating, free play, outdoor time (physical activity) and gentle and kind words and actions. We definitely welcome simple creative activities you may be able to provide. In addition to childcare, it is expected that some household tasks be completed as able.
