Nanny Job in Grand Valley, Ontario

We are looking for a cheerful, kind and experienced nanny/housekeeper to help us with our 3 children and housework. We have two daughters - our oldest will turn 6 in the spring and loves to read and learn (she is homeschooled). Our youngest daughter was born in late 2019, so the majority of her care will be provided by mom and dad. Our son will turn 4 in the spring and is full of energy. One parent will usually be at home either working or looking after the children. We are looking for someone who can help out with whatever tasks need to be done that day. Some days this may involve looking after all or some of the children. Other days may involve just cleaning, housekeeping, laundry and cooking. The older children enjoy spending time outside playing in the yard, so we would like someone who is happy to be outside with them. We prefer someone with significant experience with this age group, preferably with an ECE, teaching or nursing background. We are a non-smoking household and are not willing to consider a candidate who smokes. We do not have any pets. We live in a rural area near Grand Valley. There is no public transportation in this area so the nanny would need to have their own vehicle to get to our house, or we could accommodate someone who prefers to live in. If the nanny doesn't have a vehicle, depending on the days and hours worked, we may be able to pick up/drop off so that the person could live in during the week and go home on the weekends. We are looking for someone who can work full-time starting in early 2020 (mid to late February would be ideal). We would also consider someone who is only available for the summer (May-Aug). Hours are negotiable but we prefer someone who can work about 40 hours per week, either Mon-Fri (8 hours per day) or 4 weekdays for 10 hours per day. Salary is negotiable and depends on experience and whether or not the nanny lives in. We are looking for someone with at least a few years of professional experience working with young children (more than just casual babysitting experience) and we are willing to compensate accordingly ($14-22/hour).
