Nanny Job in Edmonton, Alberta

We are two families looking to share a nanny for our two adorable one-year old boys. We are two professional couples, living in northwest Edmonton, in the Big Lake Communities of Starling and Hawks Ridge off of the Anthony Henday. We seek an energetic, compassionate, responsible, attentive, friendly, awesome nanny to become a part of our families and love and care for our little guys 40-45 hours a week, Monday-Friday. The position will begin in October 2016. Care will be given in both homes, rotating on a weekly basis. In each home, one parent works from home several days a week. Homes are pet and smoke free. Responsibilities include caring for and keeping our little ones engaged, happy, learning, laughing, and active. Please be prepared to plan out healthy snacks, lunches, and activities for the week so we can make sure you have the food and supplies needed. Must have experience as a nanny or childcare provider with young children; a background in early childhood education is also an asset. We believe in keeping our boys active and learning, focusing their energy on positive behaviours and activities. Must love to laugh, dance, sing, go for walks, be curious, label things, cut food up into tiny pieces, make a squirmy baby smile so you can finish changing their diaper, give snuggles, read books, crawl around on the floor, and keep a close eye on two little monkeys! Our boys are a delight. Baby K is a big, outgoing boy who loves to laugh, explore, play peekaboo, eat, and see people smile. Baby E is a sweet, smiley boy who is curious and loves to swim, spend time outside and dance to music. Please be prepared to have a criminal record check and vulnerable sectors check.
