Nanny Job in Ottawa, Ontario

We are family of four living in Barrhaven in need of a nanny who would be able to help us roughly 40 hours a week starting immediately. We lived in detached home located less than 10 minutes from the Barrhaven bus terminal and within minutes from the 416 Fallowfield exit. We are a married couple in our mid 30s and both work in the health care field. We are both easy going, love to cook and lead an active lifestyle. We also own one lovely low energy english bulldog who is particularly low maintenance. We do not expect you to walk the dog on days you are with our family. We speak english and french with the boys and would like our nanny to be able to speak either language but not necessarily both. Knowledge of other languages is a bonus. Our identical twin boys were born in January 2017 with no health complications or special needs to date. Job description: -We would expect you to feel comfortable with making food for the boys over the course of the day, in addition to being open to daily activities (going for strolls, spending time outdoors, community centres, limited screen time, etc). - laundry and folding - light house cleaning - CPR/first aid training is required -Criminal check is required - non smoker -bringing the boys to local playgroups on a regular basis is important to us. -we are looking for someone long-term - ideally who could stay with us until the boys start school We look forward to meeting with you and answering any questions you may have about our family and this job opportunity.
