Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are professional, bilingual couple living in The Beach looking for a long-term live out nanny this summer (ideally starting in July) for our 11-month-old son, Finn. Mom is Lysanne, a documentary filmmaker with flexible hours who often works from home. Dad is David, a software engineer who works full-time from his home office. We live in the fabulous Beach Triangle neighbourhood just two blocks from the beach and steps to all the shops on Queen Street East. We have an energetic black labrador retriever named Charlotte and an elderly cat named Arthur. As a family, we love getting out and enjoying the beach, going for a run or bike-ride, seeing a film, cooking a fantastic meal, travelling around the globe and enjoying all the amazing cultural activities this city has to offer. For us, every day holds amazing possibilities. Join us on our adventure! Ideally, we are looking for a French speaking care-giver to look after our adorable baby Finn. He's an extremely friendly and outgoing young guy who loves to laugh. He's willing to try anything once. He loves to eat anything and everything, he loves swimming, playing with blocks, and going to the movies. We are looking for a long-term nanny available between 9-5 Monday to Friday with some babysitting and occasional over-time. We will also need our nanny to travel with mom and baby for work, up to a maximum of about 6 weeks per year depending on her filming schedule (passport and ability to travel internationally required). Also, a bit of light housework, meal preparation for the baby, and some dog-walking would be appreciated from time to time. Mom will be returning to work on August 1st but we would like a starting date in July (flexible) to ease Finn's transition.
