Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hello Canadian Nannies! We took a short break from our nanny search to do some traveling but are back now and hoping to find a good fit for our family. We are looking for a live-out nanny to care for our not-quite-two year old twins. Start date would be early-mid-January (exact start date and daily hours to be determined). We live in Cabbagetown South (near Dundas and Sherbourne) and are easily accessible by TTC. We need someone who can work 4-5 days a week, but would be open to considering someone for 3 days/week if it is a good fit. We need someone who has their CPR and First Aid training and has several years of experience working with twins or caring for 2 or more toddlers at a time. Some light cleaning and cooking will be expected. Our ideal would be to find someone who is playful and outgoing, creative and energetic - willing to jump right in and play. We’re also looking for someone who is comfortable with a loose routine, puts a high value on open, honest communication and takes a gentle approach to discipline. Some form of Early Childhood Education training is valuable, but not necessary. We would also be excited to meet nannies with any of the following: • Artistic talent (dance, music, theatre, arts, crafts etc…) • Language skills in Japanese, French or Spanish (in addition to English) • A love of the outdoors (even in winter!) • Experience with potty training and gentle sleep training • Able to work occasional evenings or weekend days If this sounds like it might be a good fit for you please let us know!
