Seeking Full-Time Nanny for a curious, active 2 and ahalf year old. who loves playing, learning and outdoor activities! Primary focus is on Child care,·with particular emphasis on Educational/Growth Activities, in social setting with other children her age. TORONTO, Downtown (Trinity Bellwoods area) Looking for a live out nanny, starting September 2018 We have enjoyed having a wonderful nanny care for our daugher the past year and a bit, but she is now leaving the work force to care for her own young children, we are once again looking for a full-time nanny to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Candidate should have First Aid and CPR training (or willingness to obtain), a criminal background check, and relevant Canadian work references. Communication (reading, conversation and overall literacy) is so important in the early years. The ideal individual is someone with excellent communication skills and a strong command of the English language. This is also a critical time for other key areas of development: critical thinking, music, vision, movement, emotional intelligence and security. We are looking for someone who is nurturing, creative, energetic, outdoorsy and active to foster this development. We are also looking for someone who believes that good manners are taught by example. This job requires a fair bit of physical strength and endurance, so you should be fit and have a bias for movement and activity. This toddler is always on the go - she needs someone who can keep up! The primary responsibility is absolutely child care and well-being, however housekeeping and meal prep are also required. Other requirements: • Activities, games, songs and toys aimed at physical and cognitive development • Plan and manage outings and activities targeted at providing stimulus, growth and development (ROM, AGO, Early Years Centre drop-in), park, aquarium, library, etc.) • Take and participate in classes (ie swim class, art class, music class) and come up with ideas/recommendations for other activities and classes for me to sponsor enrollment in! • Oversee social, emotional, and physical needs • Second language of French or Spanish highly desirable. • Communicate with parents regarding progress or problems. • Other duties include light housework and meal prep.
