Nanny Job in Burlington, Ontario

We run a busy business and require help for times when we must travel for work and occasional evenings. Estimated time will be 5-7 days every 2-3 months and 1 night per week on an ongoing basis. Our kids are in school and our toddler is in preschool all day 8 am - 5 pm. We are a busy family located in North Burlington Ontario with our 18 month old toddler/ baby, 9 year old boy, 16 year old boy, and a very friendly golden retriever dog. For the weeks we are away, we would like someone responsible to stay in our home with our family, drop off our toddler by 8 am and pick her up by 5 pm, prepare dinner, oversee bed time routines, and oversee morning routines. We will have plenty of notice prior to these trips in order to fully plan in advance. Our older kids are very independent and helpful around the home and take an active interest in helping with the baby and dog. Hours: - One evening each week until 9 pm - 4 pm-9 am or 24 hours on weekends/holidays, 5-7 days overnight approximately 4-6 times per year, planned in advance Overnight Stay Responsibilities: - morning routine - pack lunches, see off to school - care of toddler (feeding, diaper/potty training, waking, bedtime, etc) - drop off/ pick up toddler from preschool - light housekeeping and cleaning as required (children's laundry, children's activities) - prepare dinner - bed-time routine You should have: - toddler experience at least one year - nanny experience of at least 2 years - first aid and/or other safety training - excellent references - be a comfortable swimmer We have a large home that is cleaned professionally twice per month and our nanny will have comfortable arrangements when staying over including a separate bedroom, bathroom and living area. Our children are very important to us and we very much appreciate the work and dedication required to take care of them. As such, while we are looking for help immediately, it is very important we find a great fit for our family and to treat our nanny well!
