Nanny Job in Burnaby, British Columbia

Job Description: This is a full time Live-Out Nanny position with a split shift working hours 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. weekday mornings and returning 2:30 p.m. to 7:00-7:30 p.m. weekday afternoon/evenings. The position requires someone who has long term childcare experience and excellent educational skills. Must love children and possess a willingness to assist them with homework and other extracurricular activities. The candidate must be up to date on all shots including the Flu shot and successfully passed a physical, with no drug or criminal history. It would be a bonus if the candidate had a driver’s license, but public transit is easily accessible. The candidate must be able to prepare meals for the children. Assisting the children with homework when required. The candidate must have a quiet presence, respecting the required employer/employee boundaries, Skills and Requirements: • Must be dependable, responsible, honest and hard working • Must be trustworthy and patient • Must be able to follow directions but also be able to resolve problems independently with constantly contacting the employer • Housekeeping skills • Must be able to prepare meals and/or assist with meal preparation (if required) - Asian cuisine preferable • Ability to multi-task • Must have long term childcare experience and excellent teaching skills • Childcare is top priority
