Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hello Nannies, We are two young professional families seeking a part-time (3-4 days per week) nanny for our two 7-month-old sons for September 5th start. Ideally, you would be able to work at least 3 days per week, with the possibility of a 4th day. The days of the week are currently flexible for us. We would prefer care to be provided at one of the family homes at UBC but are open to having the hosting in Kitsilano as well. A little bit more about our families: Both families are young professionals, living in Kitsilano and UBC. Our babies are Milo and Andrew (both born in February 2017, one week apart!). Milo and Drew are both very calm, happy, and attentive babies! We enjoy spending time together outdoors, reading/singing, and exploring food in the coming weeks! A little bit more about the position: We are seeking a professional Nanny who is very present and engaging and who can support our son's development. Caring for the boys will be your primary responsibility, and will include supporting their developmental needs (i.e., napping, skills development, etc), outdoor time and taking them to drop-ins around the neighborhood. Specific qualifications include: - Experience caring for infants under 1 year of age, ideally twins or in a prior nanny share role - First aid training, infant CPR, criminal record check - Excellent communication skills - ECE preferred - Eligible to work in Canada - Currently living in Vancouver The hourly rate will be $22-24 per hour, commensurate with experience.
