Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hi – We are looking for part-time afternoon and potentially early morning support coordinating and facilitating the care of our 3 children; the total time commitment to start is 15-20 hours per week. My wife has begun a new job, therefore part of our care needs may become greater as she settles in to her new role; we may be able to offer additional hours as her job commitment progresses in the coming months. Initially hours would be afternoons from approximately 230 - 630 PM daily, Monday through Friday. Alternatively, we would consider Monday through Thursday afternoons, with 1-2 mornings per week, from 7 to 9, depending on availability and use of a vehicle. We will guarantee to compensate for 15 hours a week, regardless of Holidays or shortened schedules. We are seeking after-school and day-care pick up, coordination of activities, homework, sports (Hockey / Soccer / Basketball practice), helping with dinner preparation, errands and light housework. Our children are: 3 year old twins, boy and girl, and a son who is in 1st Grade; all 3 are active, extroverted and for lack of a better term, a "handful". Preference is for someone who has their own vehicle, and lives close by, as our children may be going in different directions for school, daycare and / or activities; but we're willing to share our vehicle with the appropriate candidate who has a valid driver’s license, background and availability. We are wanting to build a long-term relationship with a care-giver that would be open to occasional babysitting and expanding their engagement with our children as our twins enter school in the coming year and both our children's schedules and our jobs become more of a challenge to manage. The start date can be as soon as the week of Monday, January 22nd. Initially we are having conversations by phone with both my wife and I, then asking interested candidates to drop by and meet us and the children regarding potential fit.
