Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Seeking a full time, live-out nanny to care for two sweet 11 month old girls. Nanny should have at least 5 years experience working with infants. Nanny will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment so the girls can thrive and develop. Working from a downtown condo, all activities are within walking distance. TTC is nearby or parking can be arranged if you prefer to drive. Note: animals are in the household. Major Responsibilities • Supervise the children’s activities at all times • Plan, prepare meals and feed the children • Dress the children • Place the children down for naps • Change diapers • Potty train the children • Perform housework related to child care, including washing the children’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas • Teach the children good social manners • Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors • Lead educational activities, including reading, with the children • Take daily walks with children using provided double stroller • Attend organized weekly activities/classes for children • Provide daily reports to parents Job Qualifications and Requirements •Reliable, honest, and trustworthy •High school graduate •Minimum 5 years experience caring for infants •Training in early childhood education preferred •First aid training and child and infant CPR required •English proficiency •Physical ability to care for two young children •Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision •Knowledge of sign language to communicate with infant is an asset
