Hi there, My name is Fune, and I am a 24 year old CPR C and First aid certified nanny ready to make your life as a busy family easier to handle; I know that balancing work, life, and kids can be exceedingly difficult so my mission is to help ease the difficulties of that task:) For the vast majority of my life, "work" for me, has meant taking care of kids... meaning that for the majority of my life, I have been getting comfortable with messes (and cleaning them), refining the prescription for the eyes on the back of my head, and going on outdoor excursions. As an environmental studies and geography student, something I look forward to is being able to combine my love for nature and passion for being outdoors with my love of childcare. I hope to be able to work with your family and help instill some of that innate curiosity for fun and nature with your kiddo(s). Along with nannying, I have also had experience working in different childcare related settings. From having been a bike instructor at Pedalheads bike camps, to a recreational leader at the YMCA, as well as a camp counselor at ATCO BFK cooking camps, my years of experience working in day camps and childcare related settings haven't worn me down, but instead make me well versed in the area of childcare, and even more enthused to take on this work. Just this year, before the pandemic, I was working as a children's recreational programmer with the Vancouver Island YMCA-YWCA.
