From participating in the first year of a two year Licensed Practical Nurse education program, I am well educated in most aspect of general health and personal care. I have been taught how to properly manage personal hygiene; which included bathing, washing hair, trimming nails, shaving, and treating skin conditions. My education also covered dressing, undressing, using lifts, adjusting wheel chairs, checking blood sugar levels, assisting with meals and administering some medications. I reinforced and practiced all these skills during 7 weeks of clinical placement. I have taken a nutrition lessons, and would be able to collaborate with you to create a meal plan that would be both healthy and enjoyable. I also proficient in household chores and have experience with cleaning duties in restaurant settings. I have a valid driver's license and a clean criminal record, including a vulnerable sector check.
