Nanny Job in Carleton Place, Ontario

Rural family looking for full time live out nanny for two lovely boys, ages 3 and 11 months. Job to start March 2017., with daily hours of ~ 6:30am - 5:00pm. We are looking for someone special to come into our home during the day time to watch our two boys. They must be comfortable in a rural setting, have their own mode of transportation and love dogs and chickens. Please see below for job responsibilities. Full-Time, Live-Out Nanny Major Responsibilities Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children Supervise the children’s activities at all times Plan and prepare meals for, and feed, the children Dress the children Place the children down for naps and quiet time Change diapers Potty train the children if necessary Perform housework related to child care, including washing the children’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas and rooms Teach the children good social manners Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children Discipline the children, when necessary as per parents method Drive the children to and from activities Prepare child for school Put child and collect child from bus stop Care for and exercise dog Job Qualifications and Requirements High school graduate Minimum 3 years Experience caring for children (infant and toddlers) Training in early childhood education preferred Valid First aid training and child and infant CPR Car, driver’s license, auto insurance, and safe driving history Authorization to work in Canada English proficiency Reliable, honest, and trustworthy Physical ability to care for two young children Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision Love for dogs and other animals
