It has always been my passion to look after children as well as teach them life skills and responsibilities along the way while having fun doing so. I am very hardworking and very reliable individual when it comes to work. My Permit Status as of 1 May 2017: I am on an approved study permit that is valid from 1 September 2017 - 30 July 2019. My classes are only in the evening, thrice a week. (Wed & Fri: 6pm - 10pm & Sat: 8am-5pm) at University of Lethbridge (Calgary campus) located a City Hall. More about myself: Currently 24 years old this year,born in Singapore. My first language is English and I can speak a bit of Mandarin as well. I am active in outdoors and have also represented my country, Singapore, in the National Long Jump team. I have a bubbly and energetic personality and love working with kids. I take pride in being efficient in the work I do as well as being discipline. Past task/involvement in relation to looking after kids: 1. Volunteered for community work which involved looking after nursery kids by preparing their meals, bringing them to the toliet, reading books to them and preparing them for nap time. 2. Did part time Soccer coaching at First Kick Acadamy in Singapore for kids age 3 - 13 years old. Classes ranged up to 5 - 10 students per class. 3. Worked part time in an enrichment class called Heguru. I assisted in looking after the students and ensured they listen when lessons were conducted. 4. I have two younger siblings. My Brother, who is 19 this year, is also specials needs(William Syndrome) This has given me the opportunity to learn more about gifted children as well as gain more patience and understanding in working with kids.
