Hi, my name is Marley Jarvis, I am 23 years old and I absolutely love children. Currently, I am a full time student obtaining my masters degree in Professional Education at Niagara University (Vaughn campus), specifically in the primary/junior school teacher division. I am an outgoing and fun loving person who loves to make education fun for children. I obtained my undergraduates degree in International development and am really passionate about social justice and activism. I decided to get my teaching credentials so I could combine my two passions of positive change and educating children. I have an abundance of experience working with children including occasional babysitting, after school nanny, live-in nanny, camp counsellor, dance teacher and now classroom experience which I've gained from my school practicum. Due to obtaining my teaching credentials, I would also be able to help tutor your children and assist them throughout their educational journeys. I currently am working as a waitress in the service industry, but am looking to switch paths to do some more meaningful work. Currently, I have classes from Monday to Thursday, however school ends in may 2nd. I also work at a restaurant during my time off school but would happily resign to assist your family meaning I would be available all times outside of school. I would be returning back to school again in the fall, but am very flexible and would love to try and work something out with you and your family. Marley Jarvis is an extremely hard working individual. She communicates very well with children and has proven this many times by determining their needs on an ongoing basis. She always went above and beyond by doing things such as bringing arts and crafts with her for the kids, baking with the kids and helping them be responsible by encouraging them to clean up after themselves and helping with the family dog. Marley is always reliable, prompt and efficient- making sure the house is clean after anything she does. She is a positive and happy person which always made the kids feel at home. She never hesitated to plan outdoor activities as well and often took them to the beach and to local parks for the day. Any family would be very lucky to have Marley taking care of their children as she is truly a special person.
