Hey there!!

Im Taylor, Im 23 years of age currently looking to provide childcare services (whatever that looks like in your home) for you and your kiddos in the Vancouver area. I have a passion for working with children and have chosen a career in the education system so I can continue to teach, learn and inspire youth.

A little bit about myself: I moved to Vancouver two years ago now and its been great! I grew up in a small town in Saskatchewan and am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to adventure out in the west coast. Im currently casually serving, as I am focused on finishing my education degree. I have many hobbies, mainly involving health and wellness. I enjoy being outdoors, being physically active and moving my body, connecting to my creative side through art, dance and music. I am vegan and believe in the power of food is fuel; however I am and stay very open minded. I value quality experience, active learning and love/compassion. I am excited by life and passionate for so many things.

Experience and Education: I understood from a young age that working with youth was in my future. Attending University of Saskatchewan in --... I was enrolled in the Education program, and then in 2018 through SUNTEP in Saskatchewan. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and can provide a criminal record check at your request. I would consider myself to have many years of experience working with children, having 7 younger brothers and sisters (years younger) my confidence working with little humans is significant. Aside from years of babysitting experience - I was a consistent caregiver to two young boys ages (7) and (3) in summer 2016. Reference letter upon request.

I have plenty of fun activities in my portfolio, games to get up and get the blood flowing, and for curious and learning minds! I interact well with children of all ages, including infant care. Depending on your needs as a family, I am more than happy to help with household duties (meal prep, laundry, dog walking, ect )

Important to know:

I obtain a valid license, however I do not own a vehicle and rely on public transportation and have since being in Vancouver. Although its not my first choice, it does the job and is great for the environment.

In an ideal situation, I see myself moving from my casual serving job to working soly with you and your family. Not only am I passionate about working with children, it better suits my lifestyle, therefor makes sense for the career switch.
