Nanny in Sudbury, Ontario

Hello! My name is Kristen and I am a lot of things: nanny, playmate, self-proclaimed lunch chef, cleaner, organizer, art teacher, fort builder, race partner. I have experience nannying regularly for children from infancy to elementary school for up to three children at a time. At the moment I've been nannying with the same family for 3.5 years (1 and 3 year old to 4 and 7 year old!). My approach to children aligns with my core values: I treat children with respect and empathy, focus on connection and kindness, and practice patience and intention. I love and embrace the challenge of parenting based on these values. I am also a Communicative Disorders Assistant (speech therapy) with 7 years of experience working with the Rainbow District School Board and privately (which I continue to do part time). Previously I worked for 10 years as a lifeguard and swim instructor, as well as a first aid instructor. I am comfortable and confident in my first aid and CPR skills. I am adept at changing diapers, meal prep, cleaning, maintaining a routine, appropriate discipline, and of course, playing! I have my G license, clean driving record and a reliable car.
