Nanny Job in Mississauga, Ontario

Our kids are both in school (7 year old girl and 10 year old girl) and we are realizing that we really need a part-time “house manager” and not so much a nanny. Of course, many of the responsibilities will include our children, so must love kids! What we are looking for: Responsible, reliable, flexible individual Start date is December (flexible), must start by January 2nd. Candidates with a driver’s licence AND their own car will get strong preference Our location is Port Credit (Mississauga); Hurontario/Mineola closest major intersection Please note that this is a PART-TIME job with a range of hours from 20-25 hours a week depending on your interest and availability as described below. Please do not respond to this ad if you are looking for full time employment At a bare minimum, we need coverage 5 days a week (Mon-Friday) Come to house at approx. 2pm Prep for snacks and supper Pick up kids from nearby school at 3:15pm Supervise/help with homework Simple meals for kids, and have fun with them! getting lunches ready for them for next day Prep for next day of school tidying up kitchen Weekly grocery shopping Depart each evening at approx. 7pm (some nights earlier, some nights later) depending on the day. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 Must have criminal background check Would be great If you had some flexibility to cover more hours The above are our needs during the school year; in the summer, more flexibility is desired, with some weeks requiring no/minimal hours (ie when kids are at overnight camp or on vacation), and some weeks requiring more full-time hours (approx. 4 weeks / summer) What we envision as a perfect, potential long-term fit is a retired (but young at heart) individual who is looking for some extra income and a fulfilling way to pass some time, or a part-time/full-time student, but are open to all interested applicants
