Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

I am a graduate from Queens University and I have my masters of education from the University of Ottawa. I am currently working as an Education Coordinator for an after school program, where I work with kids from aged 3 to 16. Prior to this, I was a Teacher and Nanny. While living in Paris, France, I nannied for two families as well as an English Teacher in a high school and two middle schools. One family had two boys, aged 3 and 7, for which I cared for after school. I would pick them up from different schools, get home safely, play/do homework, have baths, and get ready for bed. We worked together for a year and a half. The second family I worked for had one girl, aged 12, for which my main concern was to be there with her after school, help her with her homework, prepared dinner and make sure the house was ready for when the parents got home from work. Both were incredible, valuable experiences, and I am looking to continue this work while in living and working in Toronto. I love working with kids and developing their sense of curiosity / play / thinking skills. I create a safe environment for children to be themselves, while incorporating the needed boundaries. I am empathetic and very aware of my surroundings. I have devoted my professional career to helping children both in education and in their personal life!
