Nanny in London

I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with the College of Early Childhood Educators; my registration number is 56563. I have recently graduate from the Child and Youth Worker program and the Fast Track Early Childhood Educator program at Fanshawe College and am keenly interested in a Nanny position. I have hands on experience working with children in multiple settings both throughout placements and in the field as a front line worker. I have demonstrated knowledge and practical experience with child development, child care theories, and behaviours related to OCD, ODD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, intellectual delays, learning differences and difficulties, etc. At the group home I acquired skills in designing, implementing, assessing and communicating behaviour management programs. I was also responsible for input into the case management system. I am trained in both Kids Have Stress Too and Second Step. I am proficient at guiding children to learn and apply effective coping strategies within an academic setting. Through my experience as an Early Childhood Educator at Relouw, ELC and within Avon Maitland District School Board as an EA, along with several placements within both fields I have acquired a wide variety of skills and knowledge regarding early childhood development. I also am knowledgeable of the importance of play to help a child learn and grow as they develop and accomplish their milestones throughout the young age. My Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (PMAB) certification along with my practical experience have provided me with the ability to present preventative interventions to children in disruptive and aggressive situations. I have practical experience in applying behaviour management techniques. I have also created and implemented an Anger Management Program for children who lack the proper skills to cope with their feelings. Through education, training, work experience, volunteer commitments and extracurricular activities I have become an accomplished communicator with proven interpersonal skills and can relate effectively to a wide variety of children. I have direct experience in one-on-one, and face-to-face counseling. I am a life long learner, driven to advance each day. My First Aid and CPR certifications are current. Nothing gives me more reward than giving back and seeing others delight and benefit from my life long learning! I am confident in my ability to successfully provide advocacy services for children. I have a passion for working with children and am flexible with hours of work. My email is ...@gmail.com for any families that are interested in myself to nanny their children. I look forward to hearing from you.
