I have over 10 years of experience working in various settings with children and youth. I have my social service worker diploma, as well as a degree in sociology. My most recent position was a child care teacher at the YMCA. I have also designed and implemented my own therapeutic social skills programs for children at a mental health organization called Reach Out Cente for Kids. I believe that providing a warm and safe environment is important for children to feel comfortable enough to be their own unique invididuals. It also promotes a way to enhance self-esteem in a child so that they can flourish and grow in a positive way.
