Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking for a warm caring live-out Nanny who will provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment for our children 18-30 hours per week in Vancouver. You would be taking care of a 4 year old preschooler and a 7 year old. Responsibilities would include all activities involved with care and nurturance of the children such as: preparing healthy meals, taking them to scheduled activities i.e. camps, taking them on summer adventures (i.e. beach, park, etc), all the while teaching life skills (manners, courtesy, and personal hygiene, etc). Also includes light house keeping such as tidying up and cleaning floors of areas of the house used during the day such as playroom, kitchen, and dining room, doing dishes used by children and nanny during the day, doing childrens laundry (clothing and bedding), and washing toys, and cooking family evening meal. You would be required to have 3-5 years of experience, as well as driver’s license, own car, CPR, and First Aid. Early childhood education (ECE) training is an asset. In the event of a job offer a criminal record check will be required. Hours are 8am to 6pm 2 days a week (Mon, Tues, Wednesday) and sometimes on thursdays 8am-6pm thursday.
