Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hello, My name is Natalie and I am a recent graduate of Mount Saint Vincent University (BA- Sociology) looking for a meaningful way to fill my time. During my time at MSVU I also studied Family Studies and Gerontology, taking classes about Child Development and the sociology of the Family. My past childcare has been inconsistent but rewarding- giving me so many opportunities to reflect myself in the questions that children ask, the way they pick up on things. I am always hyper aware of what I might be subconsciously teaching a child in my actions, the words I choose, the small decisions I make. This is all to say that I consider these things as well as the immediate care given to the child- helping them learn, playing with them, helping with schoolwork, showing them healthy meals, these are all of the more concrete things I also enjoy about being a Nanny. As I've mentioned I don't have any consistent Nanny work to reference but can give you the names and numbers of some past employers that can speak to my ability to work with seniors and the children I've encountered in previous work.
