Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Dear Family, I am very interested in working for your family as a nanny. I live in Ukraine and I belong to a family of 5 including my mother Mariya, who is a housewife, my stepfather Viktor, who is a sailor, a younger sister Sophia, who is a school student, and our retired grandmother Lesia. As a graduate year student and a young professional the decision to work as an Au pair has been seriously discussed at a family meeting and is a significant step in my life. As is obvious, I am close-knit with my family and we always provide each other both physical and emotional support. I understand how important it is for parents to choose a caring and loving nanny for their kids, so I’m going to do my best to fit in your family and follow the family rules. Moreover, through my internship experience, I’ve developed strong interpersonal and communication skills that will help me work as a valuable member of your family. Previously, I had a teaching practice at the local school-lyceum as a Physical Education Teacher and have had the opportunity to learn greatly regarding child education, their mental and physical development. I know just what it entails to assist students with their physical improvement with all my understanding and patience. Since I am the eldest daughter in the family, my training in providing care to children and adults started at a very early age. I chose to take this further when I obtained my Bachelor's Degree majoring in Physical Rehabilitation in 2016 and have worked in this capacity ever since. My first professional experience in working with children I received in Zaluchansky Orphanage where I was responsible for the rehabilitation of patients with various diseases using all methods and means of exercise therapy, massage therapy and physical rehabilitation aimed at accelerating functional recovery of organs and body systems. Working with children in the Rehabilitation Centre to ensure that they lead a dignified life is now my life’s mission. I help kids with cerebral palsy and other childhood disorders. Currently, I’m also volunteering for one project “Affordable English” as an ESL teacher in our local library of foreign languages where I teach English to people with physical disabilities. As a professional dancer and musician, I can also teach your children to play the piano and master the art of dance. I’ve been a member of a dance group “Pearl” for ten years and I have the Certificate of completion of the children’s music school. I am presently looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family in Canada with whom I can work for a minimum of 1 year. I am comfortable looking after children between the ages of 3 months to 14 years. While I am not too keen on leisure time, just a few hours a week would be nice to just walk in the park and stretch in the great outdoors.
