Nanny in East York, Ontario

Hi, there fellow reader! My name is Emma-Lyne, I am 21 year old stay at home mom to a 10 month old baby boy. I'm currently looking for a live-out setting in a part-time setting somewhere in East York. I currently live with my partner (who works full time 7-3 in construction) and my baby boy in the Main and Danforth area in East York right next to a transit spot. Somewhere not too far from my location would be ideal but I am willing to travel the distance if need be. I have about 5 years of experience as a babysitter and a part-time nanny, with an extensive background in working with children ages 0 years – 12-years old. As far as my schedule goes, I am free Monday-Friday, 9-3 or 10-4 however, that being said, I can be available as early as you may need me as I am flexible with hours. Being able to bring my little one with me would be a bonus and I could do an 8-2 shift but if you are not comfortable with that, please express that. I have successfully completed my first year of the Early Childhood Education(ECE) program at Seneca College. I am enrolled for a second year starting in the fall of this year. I am certified in standard first aid and CPR/AED level C by the Red Cross (certification expires 05/2025) I think I could be a great addition to your family as a nanny because of my experiences, my open-minded personality, and my honesty. I can tailor my caregiving style to be able to match my teaching to their personality and temperament. I try to explain things according to their age and understanding and also try to give them the feeling of being understood. I’m very playful, I enjoy playing board games, running around to have a race or to play tag, reading to kids, and I still run for the swings when I’m in the playground. As a Nanny, my job includes: *nutritional and healthy meal preps, change clothes, give baths, brush teeth, do laundry, dishes, and housekeeping *I can also supervise children swimming, and even swim with them if it is necessary, go to playgrounds, library, go for walks, sing songs, dance, read stories, do physical activities and games, explore the nature around us, and have a clear daily routine for structure and stability. *Additionally, to caring for the children I am also happy to help with pet care, groceries, homework supervision, and any other household chore(s).
