Hello! My name is Chris and I'm from Cambridge, Ontario! I have a bachelor's degree (Honours) in International Development from the University of Ottawa. I have 2.5 years’ experience teaching children (ages 3-15) English in Japan and Vietnam. As I teacher, I had excellent classroom management and learning outcomes which lead to me becoming Senior Teacher in my company. In that position I took on additional responsibility to manage and train other teachers. My previous bosses will tell you I am very responsible, professional, adaptable, and personable. These are the services I can offer: - Cooking: I am a home cook with nearly 10 years’ experience. I have cooked for large and small groups. I can cook a wide variety of food for different dietary needs. - Child care: As I mentioned, I have 2.5 years of experience working with children as a teacher. I am fun and engaging and my students always respected the class rules. - Cleaning: I am a very neat person who enjoys cleaning and tidying. I am very thorough and systematic when I clean. - Pet care: I love animals and helped take care of the family dog for 13 years and now I take care of a wonderful cat. - Odd jobs: I can do basic maintenance in the house such as washing windows and cleaning gutters, and I can lift heavy things! - Homework/Tutoring: As a teacher I have lots of experience working with children with different learning needs.
