Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Located in Toronto (Leslieville), I am a busy professional with a demanding job and am the single mother of 2 boys (5 and 10 years old). My boys and I are looking for a great addition to our family in someone who, in addition to providing childcare and housekeeping, can participate in the care the family and management of our home. We’re looking for an experienced, reliable, and responsible person who can provide fun and enriching care for the boys and thoughtfully tend to the home. We are looking for a full-time, long-term, live out nanny/house helper. The ideal fit will be someone that can act independently, take initiative without close direction but that understands my need as a mother and homeowner to be engaged in all major decisions. You will help me maintain a well-run home that is a joy for my boys to be in. Both boys are in school so you would be responsible for their morning and afternoon routines including taking and picking them up from school. In between (approximately 9:30 am to 2:30 pm) you would assist with housework and related tasks. Looking for: • Full time. • Live out. • Long term. Responsibilities. • Minding the boys (mornings and afternoons). • During the summer, on PA Days, and any other situation where one or both boys are home, you will mind and engage with the boys. • Organizing indoor and outdoor activities and arts and crafts for the boys. • Running household errands. • Take boys to appointments, activities, and other events. • Minor house maintenance tasks including scheduling any trades or repairs. • Grocery shopping. • Laundry. • Meal prep. • Full housekeeping. • Shopping for basics and as directed. • Assisting with household projects as needed. • Other related childcare and household tasks.
