Nanny in Brighton, Ontario

Dear Family, I am Geraldine (you can call me Geline as my nickname). I am 25 years old from the Philippines but I am currently living in The Netherlands as an au pair. I come from a family of 5: My mother, Evelyn is working as a representative of Philppine Red Cross. My father, Gil is currently just staying at home after he suffered from stroke or heart disease. I have two younger brothers. Gilbert, the one next to me is 23 years old and currently working in a call center company. My youngest brother, Dylan is 9 years old and now in his third grade. My first language is, of course, Tagalog, and I am also fluent in English considering it as Filipino's second language. When it comes to my childcare experience, I have helped my parents taking care of my youngest brother which is 15 years younger than me. Since my mom have to go to work to support our family, I am the one looking after my youngest brother since he was 2mos. old until I left for Denmark. I had been working in Denmark, Norway and now in The Netherlands. In Denmark, I was taking care of 3 kids, aged, 2, 6, and 10... I spend a lot of times with them playing, singing, dancing, going for a tour on the beach since we're leaving very close to it. I loved their very animated company and I sincerely enjoy spending time with children and hearing them laugh makes me feel so good. In Norway, when I arrived there, I took care of twins who are 4 months old that time and their big sister who was 3. I am currently residing now in The Netherlands taking care of a three year old girl organizing playdates for her and other fun activities. When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure with just simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book. I often propose drawing and painting activities to my little brother and the kids that I took care.
