Hello Families, It's nice to meet you! My name is Rylie and I am a 29 year old elementary school teacher in Vancouver. Working with children has been my passion for over 10 years. I began my career as an early childhood educator before transitioning into elementary schools 3 years ago. I received my ECE degree at Capilano University before attending UBC to pursue my teaching degree. Not only do I absolutely love my career because I get to work so closely with children, but I also love getting to know new families. I have become so close to the families I nanny for and feel so fortunate to have been welcomed into their homes. I am lucky enough to have seen many families grow and have stayed in touch with all previous nanny families because I developed such strong connections with each of them. I have worked closely with children of various ages and needs. Because of my education and experience I feel well prepared to work with any age group. I am also more than happy to use my resources as a teacher to help families entering Kindergarten prepare for that transition or to help tutor students over the summer. I understanding that choosing someone to spend time with your children and invite into your home is the most important choice one can make.
