Hi there, My name is Chelsea. I am 22 years old, and was born in Canada. I graduated high school from River East Collegiate in Winnipeg in 2011, and have completed one year of university at the U of W, majoring in Criminal Justice. I aspire to be a criminal lawyer. Currently, I am awaiting acceptance at to Robertson College's Legal Assistant program, which I plan to complete and use as a stepping stone to get into the legal field; as well as to help with the costly commitment of working towards a law degree. I have a clean criminal record, clear child abuse/vulnerable persons/vulnerable child registry checks, and I can provide both business and character references upon request. I love working with children; I am very patient; easy to get along with; responsible; nurturing; and I believe I possess strong morals and values that are good influences for children. I am familiar with and am able to perform advanced lifesaving training (near water), as well as advanced first aid and CPR. I do not have a vehicle at this point, and have only a beginner's driver's license; however I am familiar with all major bus routes in Winnipeg and would be willing to travel with the children via public transit if required. I grew up in a family with three substantially younger siblings of whom I often babysat and looked after, and I have been offering my babysitting services since I was 12 years old. I am still regularly called upon to babysit by various individuals, so caring for children is second nature to me at this point. I also have worked previously as a caretaker in an apartment building, and am therefore capable of and do not mind performing light cleaning tasks as well. I would love to hear from you!
