Nanny in Peachland, British Columbia

Hi! My name is Lisa & I am currently looking for a part time Nanny position. I have been with the family I am with presently with for 2 years & since all 3 children are growing up (it happens too fast!) the family's needs are changing. I have worked with children in many capacities for 10 years & bring to the table a healthy, positive outlook, an enthusiastic nature & of course, the patience / even-tempered nature often required in situations with children. I have also worked with twins/multiples & with children who have special needs (physical, emotional & mental) & my motto is "progress not perfection!" In my previous experiences, I have developed many skills & have the potential to become the best child care provider for you & your children with the ability to go beyond your expectations. Your childs health & well being is my priority @ all times, regardless of the situation, you can rest assured knowing your child/ren are in capable, comforting hands. I am highly skilled at developing & implementing athletic activities, arts/creative activities, social/communication activities as well as age appropriate activities that, in the past, have proven not only to be a success BUT, very much liked by the children, myself & parents! Basic care, personal hygiene, morning/bedtime routines, snack/meal prep, pet care & all day to day tasks are a given & I always like to encourage children, in a fun way, to take part in these things with my assistance & guidance if/when they are able. Extracurricular & recreational activities / events, developing & implementing age appropriate activities that encourage both fine/gross motor skills as well as speech/talking, cognitive learning, potty training etc. community outings, laundry, housekeeping, grocery shopping, minor household maintenance & lawn/garden care are all tasks that I take care of in my current position.
