Hi all, Thanks so much for checking my profile I am a mom of 3 great adult children - 33, 31 and 27 and a Grandmother of a precious 4 year old. I have also worked part time as a nanny/mom's helper for many years. I have lots of experience with different ages! I am an empty nester and really miss having my kids around. I am a non smoker, caring, kind, very patient gal, who will care for your children with love. I have a positive attitude and love life. I believe that raising a child is such an important role and my calm demeanor is what is important to fullfill this. I have known Sue for over 30 years. I have watched her raise her own children while maintaining her home and working full time. When I first met Sue, she was newly engaged and we worked together in Government. It was then that I first heard Sue speak of her 'dream job' She wanted to open her own daycare. Sue has always loved children of all ages. She is happiest when she is spending time with children and seeing the world around them through their eyes. She says it fills her soul. She has infinite amounts of patience and children are drawn to her quiet presence and her calming voice. One of the great characteristics she possesses is her ability to play. Sue, ( I call her Susie) is a very reliable and responsible person. When she cared for my three children I had no concerns at all that they were not going to be cared for; actually I knew they would have her full attention the whole time: I knew they would not go hungry because it's in her blood "eat" or always asking the kids "are you hungry? Because there's...and list off a bunch of food and including home made baking. Always made sure my children were safe, knew what and where they were at all times, clean, happy, just home away from home. I have known Susie for 40 years. She has always been a hard worker, dedicated, friendly, personable, accountable, responsible, cares about others more than herself, patience big time, loves kids and always wanted to be a preschool teacher, however, never a swimming instructor due to fear of water, but, yet still managed to get her on my parents boat, then my boat, there's still hope! LOL! I realize how stressful and scary it is to find someone to watch your child or children, especially in today's world. How do you know your child will be safe because your child can not yet talk? How do you know the child will not be exposed to second hand smoke for certain? I can honestly tell you, your children will be spoiled as if they were her very own grandchildren! And, then some.
