Nanny Job in Courtenay, British Columbia

We are looking for a nature-loving, playful and warm, full-time (30 hours per week) mother's helper/nanny, either live-in or live-out. The job would consist of mostly childcare but also some housekeeping and meal prep. Care is for our 5 year old, 2 year old, and soon to be newborn baby (due end of December 2021) - the care would mostly be for the younger ones since our eldest is in kindergarten. Being an excellent cook and cleaner would be a great asset but most importantly you must love children and enjoy being creative with coming up with activities and adventures! If you need a place to live, we are able to provide a room or a mobile home for you as well as access to an electric bike and vehicle on occasion. We would love if you could take our toddler to strongstart, swimming or other activities on occasion. Please note that we live on a rural property outside of the small city of Courtenay BC. We have large gardens, chickens, a dog, are next to the forest and river and walking distance to the beach. We live 30 minutes away from Mount Washington, where there’s some of the best hiking and skiing terrain in the world! If you prefer busy city life, this job will not be for you!
