Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking for a mature, patient and loving nanny to care for our 9 month old daughter. We are young professionals, located in downtown Vancouver. We are easy going, and flexible and are willing to work with the right nanny to find a situation that works for everyone! - In home childcare for a 9 month old; - Tend to the emotional well being of the child; - Prepare healthy meals, feeding, bathing and changing diapers; - Organizing and planning activities such as walks, readings, play time for child's amusement, education and learning; - Maintain safe and healthy environment; - Light household duties such as cleaning as time permits; - 25 - 35 hours per week, flexible schedule, no weekends or evenings expected (ideal hours will be Mon-Fri; 9am-3pm); - Travel expenses paid by employer; Skills and employment requirements: - Completion of secondary school (grade 12) or equivalent; - Completion of training program in child care or 1 year childcare experience (experience with a baby is a requirement); - German or Polish speaking an asset - Daily walks and meal preparation with some light housework are expected - Must be comfortable around large dogs (care for dog is not required, but she shares the apartment)
